The latest in-sport from Hawaii has been around on Lake Neusiedl for a few years now. One stands on a special surfboard and uses a paddle to propel oneself forward. The motto reads: stand up - paddle - have fun!!!

There are two Stand Up Paddling Centres in Weiden - namely the Segel- und Surfschule Kreindl in the Strandbad, and another in the grounds of the Seepark Hotel Village, next to the beach bar. Special packages may be arranged in advance.

A trip to the Tree Island at sunset or a cruise through the reed canals of Weiden are amazing experiences. No special qualifications are required.
